I’m Ashley and I’m so glad you’ve come across my little corner in the blog universe! This is a space where I share my health and wellness journey. My main goal is to get the most I possibly can out of this life, so if you’re looking to do the same, you’ve come to the right place!
I am a twenty-something on a mission to heal herself and to help as many other lives as possible along the way. Some of my favorite forms of healing are through nutrition, spending time in nature, and practicing yoga, and these are the areas I am hoping to help others in as well.
I have been learning about, reading about, and living out various nutritional beliefs for pretty much as long as I can remember. Food has always been a big part of my life, and nutrition has always been something I love to study.
Throughout high school and college, I struggled immensely with self-esteem and my sense of self-worth. My constant thoughts of “I’m not good enough” had me obsessed with trying to change my body. I wanted to find the “perfect” diet to make my life (and really myself) perfect.
This desire for perfection led me down a long path of constant restriction, fear of food, and even less self-worth than before. After years of torturing myself at the gym and in the kitchen, I wanted release. I am now on a journey to heal my relationship with food, with my relationship with my body, and my life as a whole. I am hoping to inspire others to continue to live an incredible life full of health, vitality, and adventure. One where they know they are beautiful, loved, and have so much to offer those around them.
My journey has taken me to places I never would have imagined I would be. From going to a yoga teacher training in the jungles of Costa Rica, to guiding others through the desert, canyons, and mountains of the state of Utah, and anywhere in between, I have learned, loved, and grown more than I ever thought possible these past few years. It has been a beautiful journey, and one that I am continuing to learn from and grow in.
I am currently studying at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, to further my education on Nutrition, relationships, and how to help others. I am using the information to help myself, and I am so excited to spread this knowledge to others.
I can’t wait to connect and learn more about you! Let’s inspire each other on this journey 🙂
All of the recipes and workouts and tips are things I am trying for myself, I am not a registered doctor or dietician. I am simply someone willing to experiment, and seeking to find a fulfilling, balanced, and adventurous life.
Always consult your doctor or health care provider before making any major diet, lifestyle, or workout changes.
So much love,
