Day 3 of 12 Days of Self-Love: Take 5


Today is Day 3 of 12 Days of Self-Love! This series is focused on doing one thing every day for 12 days that will help fill you up with self-love in the midst of the holidays {and hopefully beyond}. Today’s reminder is to simply Take 5 (or more) minutes for yourself at some point today. Taking a few minutes to focus on yourself and something you love is a great way to take back control of your time, and your health. When you can show up for yourself, it means you will be better able to show up for the people around you.

Maybe your “Take 5” is sitting in meditation, maybe your Take 5 is stretching mindfully for a few minutes after work, or maybe your Take 5 is simply listening to a song you love and getting out of your head for a few minutes. Whatever it is for you, use this Take 5 as a time to be mindful, to unplug from the world around you, and to plug into something that fills you up.

Today’s affirmation: My body is healthy; my mind is brilliant; my soul is tranquil.
