Day 2 of 12 Days of Self-Love we’re going to keep things simple: go for a walk! These 12 Days of Self-Love are simple reminders to do at least one thing each day that supports self-love and wellness during the holiday season. I’m checking in with you guys each morning with a simple tip, suggestion, or idea of how you can amp up your self-care today.

Because these next two weeks can be some of the busiest of the year, today I want to focus on slowing down a bit.Β Get outside, stroll around your neighborhood in the morning, go for a quick walk around the block at lunch, or take a meandering walk in the evening with someone you love. However you fit it in, use this as a time to recognize the beauty all around you. Embrace sunlight on your skin, breath in some fresh air, let go of the need to be busy for a few moments and just be present. However you walk, I encourage you to leave your phone behind, to listen to the sounds of nature, and to not worry about the number of steps you take or what your heartbeat is. Just walk for the pure joy of moving and enjoying the world around you.
