I love having these longer, warmer, brighter spring days showing up more and more! The colors of flowers and beauty all around are a constant reminder of the beauty that surrounds us all. There are the reminder that things can endure long winters, and yet still bloom beautifully in the springtime.
Spring also brings to mind a time to clear out and make space. The idea of “spring cleaning” can be quite overwhelming, so I like to break things down a little bit.
Here are my tips for unusual, but important, ways to kick-start your spring cleaning.
1). Clean out your evenings
Mix up your routine a little bit and clear space to spend time in nature, doing something you love, or starting a new hobby. Extra sunlight makes it feel like the days are way longer, so use that extra time to give yourself whatever it is you need to boost your energy and feel good!
2). Clean out your cleaners
This month I am starting to get really into essential oils, and have been learning a lot about toxins found in common products around the home. This month I’m looking to upgrade some things around the home, so that I am using more natural products.

3). Clean out things you use every day!
This weekend, I cleaned out my purse, backpack, and wallet. Getting rid of random things that build up, like old receipts, can help make everything feel crisp and more organized. It also lifts the burden of feeling like you are loosing things in your purse!
