Cacao Goji Berry Trail Mix

I wanted to share my favorite trail mix lately. It’s the perfect combination of nutritious and delicious, and includes raw cacao which gives you antioxidants without the sugar, and doesn’t melt in the hot sun!

Raw Cacao, Goji Berry Trail Mix

Step One:

Add your favorite mixed nuts to a baggie, or glass jar. My favorite combination is cashews, almonds, and macadamia nuts. You can do either roasted and salted or raw based on your own preference! Just add in what you love!

Step Two:

Top mixed nuts with goji berries! More or less depending on how much you love them, and how much money you want to spend (admittedly goji berries are rather pricey, but totally worth it!) Goji berries are filled with vitamin C, antioxidants, and are an incredibly healing and deliciously sweet food!

Step Three:
Top goji berries, and nut mixture with raw cacao nibs! They are small, so add in however much or little you desire! As I said before, these are a great alternative to regular chocolate in trail mix because there is no added sugar, and it still contains antioxidants, iron, magnesium, and all the nutrients that are sometimes stripped in more processed chocolate. Also, if you are in the heat raw cacao nibs don’t melt! So I love that it’s so much less messy!
