Health Routine: Face Care

I have a fun topic to share today. I wanted to give some brief insight into my face routine. I have obscenely sensitive skin, and any time I switch products or use make up I often break out. These are what I use to keep my face clear and hydrated.

1). Oil

My favorites are either Sesame seed or grape seed oil. You could also use hemp oil or olive oil, if you have dryΒ skin with more of a red tone. The green qualities of those oils help to balance out your skin tone. If you have oily ski I would recommend using coconut oil as it has a drying quality to it. Counterintuitive, I know!

My favorite thing to do is clean my face and then use oil on my wet skin. I then wet a washcloth with warm water and place it over my face. The combination of steam/heat and oil helps to draw toxins out, while also deeply hydrating your skin. It’s also a really nice evening wind down routine.

2). Apple Cider Vinegar

ive been using this as a toner for the past two weeks and have noticed a huge improvement in my skin tone. I just damp a cloth with ACV and rub it on my face before putting make up on.

The downside, is that it doesn’t smell that great. But the smell wears off quickly, and it’s worth while to have the balance qualities for my skin.

3. Bentonite clay

I make a mask out of 1/2 Tbs bentonite clay and 1/2 Tbs Apple cider vinegar. Then spread into face or specifically wlonto blemishes and wait for 10-20 minutes. Wash off and your skin willΒ feel wonderful! This is great to do every few weeks or as spot treatment if you get a pimple. Very effectively!
