I’m definitely into the Friday vibes this week! Only one week away from going back on trail. Saying goodbye to winter, hopefully, for good. Taking extra time to sleep in. All good things, all good things.
Things that have been lighting up my week:
1). Desire Mapping
2). Sunset Walks
3). Tongue Scraping
This has been part of my morning routine for a little while now, and I wanted to share it briefly. You use a tongue scraper (or just use a spoon) to get rid of any white buildup (ama, in Ayurveda) that is left over from the night. This is basically removing any harmful bacteria that your toothbrush isn’t so great at getting rid of. You can find them for pretty cheap online (here) or in most health food stores. Just scrape your tongue a few times in the morning and you will definitely feel a cleaner mouth and have better breath.
4). Finding my In Rainbows CD after years (it was basically my high school anthem) and being able to jam out to it. This is probably my most favorite cd ever, so I’m happy to have it back in my life.
5). Chia pudding
YUM. Healthy fats and energy to start my day off with! Plus, it tastes like dessert. So good. The above is four tablespoons chia seeds, one cup coconut milk, one tablespoon raw cacao and vanilla stevia to taste. Delish!
