Just popping in to share some tips on how to feel even more amazing!
1). Bring a water bottle with you everywhere.
I am someone who drinks a lot of water, and if I ever leave my house I am sure to have a water bottle in hand. Maybe this is practice from always being prepared in the wilderness. Nonetheless, this is such a great habit. There is nothing worse than feeling dehydrated and having to go by a one-time use plastic water bottle. Plus, when you carry a water bottle with you at all times, you are going to stay way more hydrated. It is an easy way to ensure you’re constantly sipping on some water, and that way your cells and body will continuously get an extra boost.
2). Say kind things to yourself.
There is so much negativity in the world, why add to it by beating yourself up? Recognize how incredible you are and how important it is to shine your light on the world. Whenever you catch yourself saying something mean or negative about yourself, flip it! Say something kind and positive instead. This practice will help you start to feel more confident and powerful. It will also encourage you to take better care of yourself because, let’s face it, you totally deserve the best!
3). Get some fresh air.
Maybe this means going out for a walk, or maybe it means just stepping outside for a quick minute to watch the sunset. Whatever it is for you, get some fresh air in your body. It is an energizing way to mix up your day and connect you to the world at large. If you have extra time, you can sneak in some vitamin D with the sunlight, which will make you feel even better!
4). If you don’t enjoy it, let it go.
Take time to evaluate your schedule and see where your priorities are. Obviously you will have to do some things that aren’t the top of your list. However, if you’re spending your free time doing things that you dislike, stop doing them. If you’ve been going to the gym to run on the treadmill everyday, and dread it, find another way to move your body. If you would prefer to journal first thing in the morning than go to the gym, journal! Find what resonates with you and your body. By honoring yourself, you are going to have less stress, feel more confident, and be more present throughout the day. Figure out what will make you feel amazing, and ditch the rules that other people have forced on you. This is your life, enjoy it!
5). Make your bed.
Creating even a small bit of outer order, can help you feel a little more inner peace. This is an easy task that can prove you have control over your day and your life. Plus, there is something really comforting to come home at the end of a stressful day, and see a clean, well-made bed.
