Things I’m Loving Friday


Happy Friday! I love the energetic feel of Fridays! It carries over into everything I do!

To celebrate, I wanted to pop in and share some things I’ve been loving in life, and around the internet.

I love reading other people’s “Things I’m Loving Friday” posts so I thought I would give it a go!

1). Barre

Obviously… plie-xtend

I have been loving my local Xtend Barre studio!

The teachers are so energetic and inspiring! The workouts also target all the areas on my body I want to work. I always leave feeling energized and strong! And, I get to spend an hour a day pretending I’m a balerina and doing ridiculous moves with a group of women I don’t know. It’s basically the highlight of my day! I leave feeling stronger, and I feel my posture has improved just from constantly holding a “proud chest” in class.

2). Immortal Machine Hemp Protein

If you click on the link, you can see online the ingredients and cost. I really enjoy the taste of the chocolate one. Otherwise, hemp protein is a little…strong.

3). this video of Ed Sheeran dancing! I think it’s beautiful

And, I’ve been obsessed with that song “Thinking Out Loud” lately anyway. The video just makes it magical.

4). My own Happiness Project!


I have been cooking more, getting better about where I spend my money, blogging, and in general just treating myself kinder! I feel great, and very focused on my goals ❤

5). Soup!


I made a huge batch of Lentil Sweet Potato soup this week, which was perfect! So warming and nourishing for cold winter weather. My roommate tried a bite and was equally obsessed!

My next goal is to make some homemade Miso soup. I’ve never tried to make it before, so if you have any tips let me know!

6). Veggie Burgers from the Oh She Glows Cookbook


(Which I crumbled over a kale salad with avocado here, so good!)

These were another creation I made this week, and my roommates approved them gladly! I was super impressed with how easy they were to make, and how great they tasted! MMMM.

If you haven’t checked out that cookbook yet, do it! She also has a great blog where she shares a bunch of great recipes!

7). Morning Smoothies!


I love how quickly I can blend up a bunch of super healthy ingredients, and how delicious they taste! While I’ve been switching up my smoothie each day, I still love the Acai Power Protein Smoothie here.
